Method choice belongs to the clinical planning stage. FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE become meaningful options only after the donor area, recipient zones and treatment goal have been reviewed by the treating clinic.
Transfer, airport, hotel and Istanbul schedule
Flights, hotel and transfers should be planned after the medical framework is sufficiently clear. Keeping travel logistics separate from the treatment decision reduces pressure to accept a procedure simply because a trip has already been booked.
Partner clinics and quality checks
Before an appointment is confirmed, patients should know which clinic or clinician reviews the case, which decisions remain provisional before examination and how medical questions or follow-up are handled after returning home.

Before travel, current photos, previous procedures, the pattern of hair loss, donor-area quality and the preferred hairline are collected for review. This information supports a structured first assessment but does not replace the in-person examination or create a final treatment commitment. Only after the important medical questions have been clarified should appointment timing and the likely stay be treated as concrete.
In Istanbul, examination and final planning come before the procedure. After treatment, first washing, recipient-area protection, activity guidance and follow-up photographs become part of aftercare. Medical decision-making, travel organisation and follow-up therefore have different responsibilities and should not be presented as one indistinguishable package.
